or is it…
Lols.. alright alright… this is actually a hairband.
I bought this from Forever 21 very recently, and while I was at the store, I just very quickly got a glimpse of this hanging by all the other hair accessories and thought “what is this necklace doing here”… then I went and picked it up and realized that it is not a necklace but a hairband, and that gave me this idea of wearing it 2 ways.
Initially I really just wanted to make this into a necklace because I very rarely wear hairbands. I thought i could cut off the elastic and replace it with lobster closures. But in the end, I figure I can wear it both ways without destroying it.
Its very easy really… when you want to wear it as a necklace, just put it around your neck, tie the elastic, and spin it around to hide the elastic at the back - You’re all set!
And when you’re not wearing it as a necklace, you can still wear it as its original intended purpose - a hairband.
This hairband is very inexpensive, and it being able to serve 2 purposes make this even more of a deal! Plus, this can work with virtually any hairband (provided they look good enough to be worn as a necklace).
